monoprints.
Monoprinted 'paintings'! This approach is very versatile where the artist can paint or roll ink onto a plate or remove ink from the plate with hands, cotton swabs, rags or sharp tools and then transfer it to paper to create one-of-a-kind original images.
Great fun and very spontaneous, often with unexpected results and 'happy accidents', as the artist can never completely control the process.
